VIP Opening Night Reception

All registered conference attendees have a special treat in store for them at the VIP Opening Night Reception held the evening before the AREON 2022 Annual Conference begins.  This year's reception is being hosted by Platinum Sponsor at the Arkansas Governor's Mansion located in the historic Quapaw Quarter near downtown Little Rock.  The Governor's Mansion serves as a one-of-a-kind premier venue for the state of Arkansas.  The Janet M. Huckabee Grand Hall was added to the historic Mansion in 2003 and offers 7,300 square feet of beautiful entertaining space.

The reception is included in the conference registration fee and is provided as a networking and social event where attendees can meet and talk with their colleagues from around the state.  Light snacks and beverages will be served.  We hope that you can relax and enjoy the evening in this historic setting.

Special Guest

AREON is excited to announce that Governor Asa Hutchinson has accepted our invitation to be our special guest at the VIP Opening Night Reception.  The Governor will be on hand to greet our attendees as well as to say a few words to everyone later during the reception.  

Time of Event

The VIP Opening Night Reception takes place in the evening of Monday, March 7, 2022, beginning at 7:00 PM and ending at 8:30 PM. 

Dress

Attendees are asked to wear business casual attire for the reception.

Location

The Arkansas Governor's Mansion is located at 1800 Center Street in Little Rock and is included in the Governor's Mansion Historic District, a district that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  The reception will take place in the Janet M. Huckabee Grand Hall.

Shuttle Bus

AREON has arranged for a free shuttle bus to be available before and after the reception for transport between the Marriott hotel and the Arkansas Governor's Mansion.  The driver will make two trips to the Mansion beginning at 6:30 PM, and two trips back to the hotel beginning at 8:30 PM.    The bus leaves from and returns to the Marriott hotel front entrance.

Parking

Ample free parking is available if you wish to drive your own vehicle to the reception.  Guests are asked to park in surrounding streets and enter the Center Street (North) gate.  There is no parking available on the Governor's Mansion property.  The map below shows the location and streets where parking is available.
