In the second half of the 20th century, two men worked independently to develop a vaccine for polio.  By 1960, Salk and Sabin both found the preventative cure within five years of each other. This modern miracle saved millions of lives, but what if these men had worked together? Could more lives have been saved if they had collaborated?
